The publicly confirmed Build a Phone Empire component categories include screens, cameras, and chips. The designer also exposes screen size, camera configuration, corners, buttons, colour, finish, and logo fields. A complete live catalog with every name, cost, effect, prerequisite, and unlock year is not published, so this index separates confirmed categories from values that must be read in the current server.

This is a currently documented index, not a claim that only these categories exist. Add a category only when the current designer or a first-party description identifies it.
Record a part correctly
For every live entry, capture the exact name, category, displayed cost, shown effect, prerequisite technology, in-game year, compatible device family, source version, and check date. If the interface uses an icon without a visible name, record the surrounding menu and avoid inventing a label from appearance.
Costs and unlocks are update-sensitive. A part observed in a later year or after research should not be described as a starter option. Likewise, an option visible on a phone does not automatically apply to a tablet, watch, earbud, foldable, or laptop.
Compare parts under matched conditions
Build two devices with the same family, body, price, marketing, region, and year while changing one component. Compare total shown cost, critic feedback, and live sales direction. If multiple parts must change because of a prerequisite, state that limitation rather than attributing the entire result to one component.
Do not rank a part by price alone. A more expensive option can increase development cost without creating enough extra demand for the current market, while a cheaper option may support a profitable baseline. The relevant question is whether the choice improves the product result enough to justify its cost in that company state.
Use the Phone Design guide to control the other design fields and the Pricing guide to avoid hiding a component result behind a large price change.
Research and catalog visibility
Research progresses year by year. The official Triple Research description says technologies can unlock new screens, cameras, and chips, and each technology still costs Research Points. This means a missing part can be a research-state issue rather than a different game version.
When comparing catalogs with another player, include active research, completed nodes, year, and device family. If one account owns a pass that affects visual choices, note it. A useful index explains why an entry may be absent instead of declaring the other screen wrong.
Standard and premium appearance options
Premium Finishes currently advertises six named choices. Logo & Wallpapers advertises back-logo and screen-wallpaper selection. These entries expand customization, but the public store descriptions do not promise higher reviews, more sales, or a research shortcut.
Before purchasing, open the official Roblox store panel and confirm the current name, description, price, and sale status. A finish shown in a screenshot may be part of a pass, a standard update, or a different catalog state. Use the live lock label to identify it.
Mobile-friendly comparison method
Do not try to fit a wide spreadsheet on a phone. Use one card per part with labeled fields. Group cards by category, then sort within the current research year or prerequisite. This lets screen, camera, and chip records wrap naturally at 320px without hiding values behind horizontal scrolling.
For a quick in-game note, save six items: name, category, cost, unlock, compatible device, and check date. Add effects and test results later. Unknown fields should remain blank rather than filled with a guess.
Common catalog mistakes
- Mixing appearance fields with technical parts without labeling the difference.
- Calling the visible starter options the complete catalog.
- Copying exact costs without a date, year, or research state.
- Assuming a paid finish improves sales because it is premium.
- Using a phone-only option as evidence for every device family.
- Ranking components from two launches that also changed price and marketing.
- Inventing names for icons that the current interface does not label.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the complete parts list?
No. It is the currently documented category index. Individual live entries require a current-server catalog check.
Which part is best?
No universal best part is verified. Compare cost, review, and sales under matched conditions for the device and year you are playing.
Are premium finishes parts?
They are appearance options sold through a Game Pass. This page lists them for lookup but does not claim a technical effect.
Why is a part missing from my designer?
Check device family, year, completed research, prerequisites, and pass ownership. Use the label shown by the current interface.
